... interesting to see here that, when John McEnroe entered the pros (at Wimbledon), he had a very ordinary looking serve. I had thought his strange mechanics had always been with him, like Connors. So it must have been a purposeful adaptation -- which is strange, given how unorthodox it is. I mean, who else made a modification to their serve like that? (Also, at the very end of the video, note how the British announcer doesn't know how to pronounce his name. Funny.).
