Dr. Wilson,

I wanted to wait until after the finals to tell you how much I truly enjoyed both the 472 and 497A courses. I began to tell you last week after class that I've enjoyed the semester, and then someone else said the same thing, however I want you to know that I think you're a great professor.

I enjoyed all of the lectures, and learned a great deal about legal philosophy and the legal process. I also have a great deal of respect for you and was always entertained by the power-point presenations. I regret graduating this semester only because I wish I could take another course of yours because quite frankly you're one of the most intelligent professors at Penn State, and I learned more and was challenged more in your class than almost any other class I've taken in my 3.5 years.

So again, thank you for your instructions and for being a great professor. I wish you the best of luck, and envy any decently intelligent and ambitious student that will take your class in the future--because they will get a lot out of it if they put the work in.

Thanks, and Happy Holidays,

Dr. Wilson:

Ashleigh told me about this site and I decided I should second her opinions. I'm not in Law School. You'll be happy to know I got a job as a police officer for Penn State. I'm in the police academy now and even though I'm not in law school, your class has prepared me for police work in ways my fellow cadets can't comprehend. We just reviewed PA's law banning flag desecration and I was hoping you'd walk into the room and back me when I argued that it's actually legal

Bottom line: your class was very tough when I took it, but now I feel more prepared and informed than most of my peers. Thanks for making it tough on us; it's paying off in the long run. I'll see you in November when I return to Happy Valley to start work.

Dr. Wilson's method of teaching, though it is very demanding, it is extremely informative and helpful. There is a decent amount of work that a student has to perform to succeed in Dr. Wilson's classes, but if you do all of the work, you will learn a great deal of information that will better you not only as a student in Political Science, but as an overall student. He is hands down the most influential professor I have ever had at Penn State. I fully recommend all of Dr. Wilson's classes, especially the Constitutional Law classes.

Sincerely,

That is very encouraging for me, Ashleigh, because I took ConLaw I and II from Dr. Wilson.

Hi Dr. Wilson,

I wanted to let you know that I'm in my first week of law school at Case Western, and your ConLaw II class has already proved to be a tremendous help. I'm far less nervous then most of my peers, in part, because what I've encountered thus far is a lot like your class.

Thank you.
