Mary Jane Shown Dancing For The First Time

ASM 43. John Romita evidently liked drawing the new women in Parker's life: Mary Jane and Gwen Stacy. It's funny seeing the personalities given to both and how Romita every so often has the characters dance. This is Romitta's first sketch of either of the two dancing.

Mary Jane Cuts Her Hair

ASM 64: MJ goes crazy with the hair. A little lesson for the gals out there: If you've got Laurie Partridge hair, don't do what MJ did. Of course, MJ didn't technically have Laurie Partridge hair because she made the mistake of having bangs, but that's another issue. Just don't cut it. Romita drawing.

Mary Jane's Hair Returns

ASM 82: MJ's hair returns to normal, with no apparent comment or explanation. She had cut it incredibly short in issue 64, and it appeared that way in the November 1968 issue of Spectacular Spiderman, published the same time as ASM 66.

Spiderman Saves Mary Jane

ASM 127: MJ is thrown from mid air by the Vulture. Spiderman has to try to save another falling girl in his life. This time, the editors try to make him use a different technique to avoid the perils of physics, which is what killed Gwen Stacy. I have no comment.
