The Dark Knight

Very good. I'm amazed at the difference between how poor the Michael-Keaton-era Batman movies are to this series. I'm also amazed at how the story, casting and acting are so much better compare to, e.g., Spiderman. You want to see how to screw up a really good comic and how to make a really average one look larger than life on the big screen? Go see Spiderman and compare it to the Dark Knight. The difference lies in the fact that the subject matter is taken seriously (not as a comic book). Just like Lord of the Rings. And also the casting, acting, script, etc. Everything really. Very surprised to see how well Anne Hathaway did as Catwoman. There were times when I thought the movie might be ruining itself in the story, but, each time, it came right back. Great ending. Grade: A.
