Saw Men in Black 3. It was decent. Not bad for a third installment. B

Dark Shadows

Saw the Johnny Depp movie last night. Not good: C+. Funny thing is that the acting was pretty good. Depp was fine. The movie was just too slow and tried to fix that by getting silly at the end. C+

Red Lights

Saw Red Lights on Netflix. I couldn't understand the effing ending. Had to read Wikipedia. May need to watch it again. Grade: B+

The Avengers

I liked it, but probably for the wrong reasons. The carnival actually kept me entertained. These movies are not done “seriously,” like, say, Lord of the Rings or Potter were. They are pure theme park fun. As a result, you cannot watch them more than once. But this disposable thrill was very good nonetheless. I give it an A- .

Freelancers

Watched Freelancers on Netflix. It was so bad, I couldn't finish it. Acting was terrible. Script poor. Etc., etc. Grade: D.
